Cătălin V. Nan

I am the President of the National Federation of Romanian Parents – Edupart, the largest national parents’ organization in Romania, representing millions of parents through a nationwide structure of county branches and local parent associations.

I am the father of three daughters who have been actively involved in education, sports and youth development programs. My personal experience as a parent has shaped my commitment to improving cooperation between families, schools and public authorities. For many years I have been actively involved in parental representation, educational policy  dialogue and civic initiatives at local, national and European levels. Through my work in the federation, I coordinate projects that support parental participation in education governance, prevention of school dropout, digital safety for children, and the promotion of healthy school environments.

I strongly believe that parents are a key pillar of democratic education systems, and that strong parent organizations are essential partners for governments, schools and European institutions.

Tasks: The Board lead on the Europe-wide Press Strategy. This requires a collaboration of Board – Secretariat – Pool of Volunteers.
