This years' Civil Society Week organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is scheduled to take place from 2–5 March 2026 in Brussels, Belgium (hybrid), with the theme of the year dubbed “People, Democracy, Resilience – Our Future!. This year’s Civil Society Week comes at a pivotal moment for Europe. Rising inequalities, democratic backsliding, technological disruption, and geopolitical instability are testing Europe’s social and democratic foundations. Each day will focus on one of the identified priorities, offering a programme of high-level debates alongside participatory sessions and interactive workshops.![]()
