CoFoE / EESC Event: Shaping Europe Together!

The Conference on the Future of Europe (CoFoE) is now approaching its most decisive phase. Over the past few weeks, the European Citizens’ Panels have been presenting their recommendations, which will forge the strategic direction of Europe for the near future.  Against this background, and as the home of European organised civil society, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has been playing a key role in engaging people in the debate on the future of Europe. It has issued a resolution, published several ideas on the CoFoE’s online platform and launched a series of consultations in EU countries.

The EESC is now glad to be able to invite you to participate in an event which will be a unique opportunity to take stock of work done so far, analyse the challenges ahead and reflect on the future, particularly as regards the continued importance of organised civil society in the next phase. Participants will be able to debate with speakers from all walks of life, from high-level institutional representatives to representatives from the worlds of business, the social partners, academia and activism.
