Join us for an interactive policy debate co-organised by the European Parents’ Association (EPA) and the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) as part of the Lifelong Learning Week 2026!
About the Event
How do we validate and recognize the vital informal skills acquired through parenting and adult learning? Drawing on insights from the GrowWell project and EAEA’s expertise, this workshop explores how upskilling parents and caregivers fosters socio-emotional learning (SEL), emotional well-being, and strategies to combat cyber-violence and online risks. Crucially, the session addresses structural gender imbalances to elevate traditionally invisible caregiving skills within European lifelong learning frameworks.
