ValUE – Solidarity Matters: Final Conference
Volonteurope is part of the “ValUE – Solidarity Matters” project, led by SOLIDAR Foundation. The initiative focused on the engagement of citizens in the debate on the future of Europe through non-formal and informal educational activities. Project activities, called Solidarity Labs, engaged citizens in a gaming exercise that allows to understand the impact of solidarity in the community as well as across Europe in crisis scenarios, especially after the COVID pandemic. The Labs resulted not only in fostered engagement of the citizens involved, but also in the collection of collective and diverse definitions of solidarity, as well as in a web-documentary.
This project is now hosting its Final Conference to learn about the methodologies, experiences, and definitions of cross-border solidarity that were gathered across nine countries over the past 18 months.
The event, in hybrid format, will be held in Brussels on 12 July 2022, between 10:00 – 12:00, at Atelier 29, Rue Jacques de Lalaing 29, 1000 Bruxelles.
The event programme is available here. Please note that, sadly, the venue is not accessible for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility, so should this prevent you from attending, please join other participants who will be taking part via Zoom, online.
For those attending in person, the Final Conference will be followed by a networking lunch, from 12:00 to 13:00.
The registration form for the ValUE Final Conference can be found here.
