Dialogue With Former Ministers of Education: After One Year of Covid Crisis – What have we learned?
This last year has been a very demanding educational year. Both the closure of classrooms and the provision of education under extraordinary circumstances have conditioned the last two academic years. Although this crisis has not finished yet, we can start looking at this crisis with some perspective – what went wrong but also what when well and what we have
learned.
With the aim of thinking about the future of education, we will reflect on the lessons of this crisis, the flaws and the strengths of our systems with three former ministers of education: Maria do Carmo Seabra (Portugal, July 2004-March 2005), Ruth Kelly (United Kingdom, December 2004-May 2006) and Francesco Profumo (Italy, November 2011-April 2013).
EPA, along with OIDEL, ECNAIS and OIEC, are supporting this event and Ignasi Grau i Callizo, the General Director of OIDEL will moderate the session.
