EU Code Week 2025 Launch Event
We are excited to share details of the EU Code Week 2025 Launch Event, taking place online on 13 October 2025, 14:00–16:00 CEST. This high-energy opening, hosted by MEP Victor Negrescu, Vice-President of the European Parliament, will bring together policymakers, educators, industry voices, and our grassroots community to celebrate the start of Code Week.
The event will feature:
- Opening remarks from EU leaders and the European Commission
- A keynote Still Coding the Future! by Ajsel Budlla, EU Code Week Digital Innovation Award winner
- A panel on The Power of Communities in Europe’s Digital Future
- Spotlights on Girls in Digital Week, AI in education and careers, Minecraft coding, and the EU Code Week Hackathons
