Active Parents – the Key to a Great Childhood – Invitation
Being an active parent means that you are aware of the environment you and your child live in, you know how to navigate in the world of your child, be it real or virtual, and you are able to support your child by the right guidance when making decisions as well as by your own involvement in certain areas, especially school life in the best interest of your child(ren).
Listening to the wishes of its members EPA has changed its working method and has entered into projects the outcomes of which can be used by all of our members. This autumn’s conference is dedicated to three major areas, active participation as a vehicle of inclusion for all, parental involvement for better learning outcomes, and the challenges of virtual identities and activities. During the conference we will show how these seemingly far topics are interlinked, and participants will have opportunities to find the best way to use the products EPA and our partners developed in their own national contexts. In order to trigger discussion there will be an opportunity to see a local solution and local use of project outcomes for each topic. As EPA Conference attendees know, the organisation will provide room for as much interaction as possible.
