Elena Odysseos
President
Elena Odysseos Iosif lives with her husband Michalis and her 3 children in Cyprus. She holds a BSc in Business Management, a Diploma in Public Relations, and she is also a Certified Trainer. After 18 years of experience in the banking sector, she transitioned in 2018 to work as a self-employed consultant, focusing on European projects, banking issues, and family-related topics. Currently, she serves as a Scientific Partner for the Cyprus National Committee “Environment and Child’s Health” under the Ministry of Health, addressing issues that impact children’s physical, mental, and psychological well-being. She has over 22 years of involvement in local, regional, and national parents’ associations in all levels and served as member of the board in other organizations both.
She joined the European Parents’ Association (EPA) in 2016 and ever since she has been an active contributor. She was elected as President of EPA in May 25 and before her election on this position she was elected twice as Vice President. She has represented EPA in high-level meetings and events in many occasions. She has also contributed in a number of the European projects of EPA.
She is passionate about lifelong learning and civic engagement and she believes in the power of education and collaboration to improve the well-being of children and families across Europe.
