Following the panel at the Civil Society Week, EPA, alongside other organisations, contributed to the parallel sessions under Policy Pillars to Grassroots Reality, specifically Session 2 on “Local Learning Ecosystems,” which focused on the DECITEL project. The session, led by EPA and OBESSU in collaboration with EIP, highlighted how the DECITEL methodology supports the development of local stakeholder communities including teachers, students, families, and local authorities working collectively to strengthen citizenship education.
True democratic health requires a shift from abstract ideals to practical, lifelong, and multigenerational learning that empowers all citizens, regardless of background, to become critical and active participants.
